Marc Bernier is a Canadian actor, most famous for his role in the television series “Lost Girl”, and for his guest appearances in “Whistler” and “The X-Files”. He was born in Quebec, Canada, on the 14th August 1976.

Marc grew raised in Tiverton, a tiny town in Rhode Island. On July 6, 1975, he worked the midnight shift at a tiny radio station in Fall River, Massachusetts, for a Portuguese-language program. Despite the fact that he does not understand Portuguese, he has mastered the ropes of broadcasting. Before coming to Florida in 1990, he hopped across the radio dial and throughout New England.

Marc joined Steve Crowley’s “American Scene,” a syndicated radio discussion program produced live from Disney-MGM Studios and broadcast locally on WKIS-AM 740, as executive producer. Crowley would leave the program, and Marc would fill in for him. Marc would go on to anchor “The American Forum,” a nationwide radio program.

As originally reported on Sunday, August 28th, the WNDB radio presenter, an outspoken opponent of COVID-19 vaccines, died of COVID-19 following a three-week hospital stay.

Bernier was admitted to the hospital on August 10th and spent three weeks battling the illness. In his most recent tweet, he utilized a video from Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried encouraging people to be vaccinated to equate the US government to Nazi Germany.

“WNDB and Southern Stone Communications announce the death of Marc Bernier with profound sorrow. Marc educated and amused listeners on WNDB for over 30 years while working as a radio journalist for 46 years,” according to a WNDB Facebook post.
