Hoodrich turned his focus full-time to music production shortly after he and his home were targeted by a branch of Atlanta law enforcement specializing in drug-related crimes. Designer Drugz, his debut mixtape, was published in 2015, followed by a series of subsequent installments, including Designer Drugz, Vol. 2 and Master Sensei, both in 2016, and Hood Wolf, a collaboration between himself and famed trap producer Danny Wolf, in 2017. Hoodrich had signed with the Mony Powr Rspt label at this point in his rap career, and was working on Designer Drugz, Vol. 3, which was set to be released in the second half of 2017. The next year, Rich Hood was released, featuring Gunna, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, and others. A second album was released later that year. Hoodwolf 2 was a team effort with Danny Wolf, Hoodrich Entertainment’s in-house producer. Rich the Kid, BlocBoy JB, and Lil Skies all made cameos on the show. In 2019, Hoodrich released BLO: The Movie, a drug-related film. Gunna, along with Young Thug, Young Dolph, Smooky MarGielaa, Gucci Mane, and NAV, made another guest appearance on the mixtape.
