Mel B, a.k.a Scary Spice, is trying to start a reunion with the girl group she started nearly two decades ago and it’s been met by some resistance from their former members who are not interested in returning just yet

Mel B is the driving force behind a Spice Girls’ reunion. She has been a part of the group since 1998 and was the first to leave in 2000. Since then, she has had her own successful career as a singer, actress, and TV presenter.

Mel B This year, the Spice Girls honored their 25th anniversary by releasing a new song on limited edition vinyl and cassette. Fans got to hear a record with all members of the group performing for the first time in many years.

Mel B predicts a Spice Girls reunion in the near future.

The Spice Girls may have another reunion tour to add to their already remarkable resume, which includes being one of the most successful female groups in the United Kingdom.

Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) released a single in June to commemorate Wannabe25. It was the group’s first new music in 14 years.

Mel, whose real name is Melanie Brown, has said that she would do all in her power to ensure that the famous girl trio returns to the stage in 2023.

She made the revelation while hosting Mel B’s Packed Lunch on Channel 4 as part of the channel’s Black To Front initiative on Friday, September 10. Through the channel’s programming, the initiative showcased the skills of Black presenters, performers, authors, and contributors.

Mel was questioned by football commentator Chris Kamara and a member of the audience if there was any chance of the Spice Girls reuniting for another big tour in the near future while making her maiden live presenting debut. The Spice Girls last toured together in 2019, but they were sorely missing Posh Spice (aka fashion icon Victoria Beckham). Mel B, on the other hand, was able to give the supporters some great news this time.

“On our previous tour, Victoria politely dropped out, and you have to respect those who don’t want to go on tour,” she said. “I’m constantly pushing for a Spice Girls reunion, and we were talking about it last year, but then COVID happened, and everything got put back.”

“I believe we’re on the same page, hopefully.” They’re going to murder me if I mention this! We’re hoping to tour in 2023, particularly if it has anything to do with me, which it will since I’m the driving force and will make it happen!”

Despite the fact that none of the other members of the band have responded to Mel’s claim, fans are ecstatic.

The Spice Girls Have a New Name

The vocalist also revealed some new nicknames for all of the band members, including herself.

“Victoria has a bizarre sense of comedy, so she’d be Sarky Spice,” Mel said. “Baby Spice is a filthy sassy-pants, so she’d certainly be Lustful Spice,” says the author.

“It’s Perfect Spice because Melanie is a perfectionist. Where should I begin, Geri? Stop wearing white and start wearing the union jack. And what about me? “I’d be Fabulous Spice!” exclaims the narrator.

It may be a pleasant change for Victoria, who said last year that the moniker “Posh” Spice was not something she would have picked for herself initially. She also said that she “ultimately got into it on my own terms” at the time.
