For the last six years, it has been a goal of mine to share tales about my homeland with my fellow Minnesotans. I pinch myself every day as I go into that building, and I’ll continue to do so as I reflect on the pleasure of working as a journalist at one of the finest television stations in the nation. I’m not sure what my future holds, but I have faith (and) I’ll keep my chin up and be fine.”

A representative for the WCCO issued the following statement from management:

“As part of our continuing merger with Viacom and to react to developments in our business, particularly those connected to COVID-19, we are reorganizing several activities within CBS. Today, our thoughts are with our leaving colleagues, whom we thank for their friendship, service, and many significant accomplishments to CBS.”
